Today is the day for it. At 4:24 this morning the Summer Solstice arrived — the longest, brightest day of the year, the sun pausing at its very peak before its slow return. The whole year has been building toward this much light. People have gathered to honor this moment for thousands of years, and there's a reason it still pulls at us: it's the year at its absolute fullest.

So before the day gets away from you, I want to invite you to do one simple thing: go outside and face the sun. Close your eyes, turn toward the warmth, and just breathe for a minute. That's the whole ritual. If you'd like to go a little further, set an intention while you're standing there — name one thing you want to grow into fruition this summer, the way the sun grows everything it touches. Some of us will be simply resting a hand over the solar plexus — your own inner sun — and letting the warmth point us back toward what matters. However you do it, let the light realign you.
